It's official! I R a Master's Student!

I got the official letter today! Everyone may commence doing the happy dance!! I'll wait right here while you dance.

OK, that was great! School is going well. I tell ya, every year I vow to not forget how hard it is at the beginning, and somehow every year I do anyway. I feel like a shepherd herding sheep sometimes, and other times like a cat chasing its own tail. I did actually accomplish something today, though, so I'm getting somewhere! I had planned on staying after school to try to sort through the mess on my desk this afternoon, but that didn't work out as planned. So maybe I can do that tomorrow!

One big change is that we've moved from a 1:40 planning time to a 10:35 planning time. My head has not adjusted around that! I'm sure I'll adjust over time.

My right eye has taken to twitching yesterday and this afternoon. Hoping that is going to pass soon, too!

**If you haven't already, it isn't too late to get a Flashback Friday post up and link it to enter my contest! Scroll down to check it out!!**

Congrats on starting your Masters! It is a lot of work but so worth it when it is over!

I am moving to a 1:45 planning time this year from an early morning one and I am NOT happy about it.

Congratulations! And here's hoping that you have a smooth teaching year, too.

Christi,
This is Brandi Elam (used to be Brandi Hensley), I went to youth at HV... hopefully you remember me, (I hung out with the twins!) Anyways, I am considering going back to school to get my Bachelor's Degree (currently have an AD of Registered Nursing) through Liberty University in Education because I am so tired of nursing and am really interested in teaching. I have had a lot of people tell me I'm dumb and what not but I really think this is the right thing. ANYWAYS... didn't mean to ramble on but I honestly have a question for you and since you're one of the only teachers I have contact with you are the lucky one. If I go through Libery to get a Bach is Eduction it won't come with a licensure... however they said that the state could grant me one depending on who I work for etc... would it be hard to get a job without a licensure from the school I grad from? Can you give me some more info on that? I can also continue after that to get my masters in another year and a half or so and it will come with licensure... if you could help that would be so great... you could email me if you want at vols_gurl@yahoo.com

Thanks so much Christi!!
